Residential Electronics Recycling Program
The Chicago Department of Public Health has made it easier to recycle your old electronics by opening drop-off locations throughout the city.​​

Electronics can include, but aren't limited to:

Computers
-
Televisions
-
Printers, fax machines, scanners
-
Keyboards and mice
-
VCRs, DVD players, and DVD recorders
​​There are drop-off locations throughout the city that operate from April 1 through December 31. All locations are listed in the graphic here.

The City of Chicago also operates a Household Chemicals & Computer Recycling Facility located at 1150 N. North Branch St. This facility is open year-round during the following hours:

Tuesdays from 7:00 am - 12:00 pm

Thursdays from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm

First Saturday of each month from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
